Koda Chrome

Red and White
Red and White

I got a "thang" for old cars.  Don't want one.
Surely don't want to go to one of those old car shows.
I just kinda like 'em for taking pics.
Go figure.
Red steering wheel.  Cool.

In the Rearview

Multiple Me
Multiple Me

It does get harder.
Or is it just my imagination?
Who are these relics?
Are they really me?

so many different people to be

"When I look out my window,
What do you think I see?
And when I look in my window,
So many different people to be"

Always a Line

I think it's been more than a decade, maybe even two since anything from here has passed between my lips.
Not judging, just noticing.
For all it's faults and ridicule-it thrives.
I'm not lovin' it
..........da dah da dat dah........
but lots of people are.

Golden arches baby.....and there's always a line.

lonely is hard to find here

doesn't matter how far from the urban map
i wander on these back roads
it's still near impossible to find lonely.

there is always someone just over the hill,
or behind me.

i need to keep moving

Grabbin' a Smoke
Grabbin' a Smoke

I used to do it.  I shouldn't have, but I did.  My father said he would pay me $1,000 if I didn't before I was 18.  I did it anyway.  If it wasn't bad for my health, I might still do it.  Sometimes I feel badly for them; I try not to judge, comment, fan my hand beneath my nose or stare in disgust.  They've been banished to the street, the far edge of the driveway, outside the parameters of a school zone.  Why should I make them feel any worse than they already must?

On a foggy evening these two banished souls were just too tempting not to capture.  I imagine their dates and dinners remained inside, while they seemed perfectly content to enjoy a moment on the street corner.
