Saying Goodbye to Summer

Memorial Day and Labor Day are bookends for the season.  I much prefer the bookend on the left.

I don't know?  Do you?  She was just there....on this long expanse of fence.
Lonely.  Begging to be taken.  So I did.
But I think she meant "taken to", not just taken.
Guess Cinderella is still waiting.

Squares in Summer

What the Evening Breeze Said BW
What the Evening Breeze Said BW

The tilt of the hip, the silhouette reflection, the chance to imagine thoughts and what's being seen, the peace of solitude in a public setting.

The remembrance of an evening with a balmy breeze.

the neighborhood

                                                                            as the sun's light fades
                                                                              traffic picks up and
                                                                             we turn to the inside
                                                                                    day is gone.

winter is so filled with beauty
it shatters my heart

like an icicle that has lost its grip
and falls then to pieces

No Rest for the Weary

The Stolen Car has been sitting abandoned for some time.  Sometimes a thief needs to lay low, keep to the shadows.

Reflections, abstraction, shape, glass, and some poor woman pouring coffee at Dunkin Donuts, where there's always a line at the drive thru window, but rarely one inside.
That's why I go inside.
